THOMASTON, CT, May 6, 2013 ̢— Today at the 2013 Offshore Technology Conference, Ward Leonard announced their new 1,350 horsepower AC drilling motor specifically targeted for top drive applications. The 1,350 offers a powerful combination of rugged performance and durability ̢— even in the most brutal rig environments ̢— and decades of continuous service that Ward Leonard customers have benefited from for years.
“As a company dedicated to operational excellence, everything we do is about continuous improvement of our products and services to allow our customers to harness energy more effectively,” said Ward Leonard President Michael Clute. “With the 1,350, we’re setting a new benchmark in the oil and gas industry as the only motor that is certified to both ATEX and CSA standards.
